The Moorcroft Trunk Showing and Sale of Pottery and Enamels SEPTEMBER 15, 2001

The following was excerpted from ''Away to the USA'', published in the MoorCroft Collectors Club newsletter for April, 2001.

'' ... At least once Tamsen Munger found herself looking hard at Moorcroft, but decided against opening an account because of the continued price variables between the United States and the United Kingdom. Her delight at finding Moorcroft at the Atlanta Gift Fair selling direct and at UK prices was immediately apparent.''

That quote is a small excerpt from the Moorcroft Collector's Club newsletter. Now I can happily say that not only am I a dealer of Moorcroft Pottery and Enamels I am a dedicated collector also! Who can resist, it is all so beautiful.

My associate, Bob Wash, and I were given the grand tour of the factory that manufactures Moorcroft Pottery and the two factories that manufacture Moorcroft Enamels. The enamels start as a flat round piece of copper and are "turned" into the small pots and boxes and then go to another factory to be hand enameled and hand painted.
